We are looking for an outstanding E-commerce Executive to join a successful and established Maltese jewellery brand team!
Currently, in an exciting phase of international growth, the brand has this is the perfect challenge for someone with great energy, creative flair and tenacity to make a business their own, with the added benefit of having modern tools and being a part of a growing team.
The key responsibilities include:

  • Take ownership of the full life-cycle of the company's website, by managing the roadmap and prioritizing the feature backlog for web developers in line with brand strategy and commercial timelines
  • Launching campaigns and maintain high-quality standards on merchandising on the company's website in line with the Marketing calendar, including updating banners, videos, blogs, campaign information, links, new product detail and category pages and product or campaign landing pages
  • Owning product workflow, Inputting and Optimizing online product listings in website backend, with accurate product information, images, pricing and placement to maximise conversion and revenue, also ensuring that any information, descriptions or collateral to implement this task is received on time from the respective teams
  • Ensuring that product stock levels and prices on the website are always up to date
  • With an SEO mindset, oversee the content creation for Product Detail Pages and Category Pages
  • Generating and collecting ideas and making recommendations on how to improve website usability, user journey, design, content and traffic conversion, while project managing all approved website projects
  • Utilising tools such as Google Analytics and Excel to build important website traffic, conversion and behaviour reports and presenting to the management on a regular basis
  • Have ownership of website brand content. Make requested content changes, suggest improvements, and be a central point for ongoing queries from internal stakeholders
  • Liaising with the web development team to constantly monitor and progress website efficiency and performance, while reporting technical issues/bugs and ensuring that they are fixed
  • Help review, test and monitor new functions on the website
  • Identifying new opportunities that add value to our website through third-party tools and integrations
  • Keeping up to date with global e-commerce trends and ensuring that the website user journey and technical functionality remain top of the class
  • Running on-going global competitor analysis

 The ideal candidate has/is:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, or equivalent
  • Self-motivated, pro-active and sales-driven
  • Outstanding planning, organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Strong understanding of site merchandising principles
  • Experience in e-commerce platforms
  • Knowledge of analytical tools such as Google Analytics
  • A good understanding of Conversion Rate Optimization
  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills with a team player mentality and a generally positive approach to all elements of the role
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal) and high attention to detail
  • A passion for e-commerce and the latest industry trends and techniques
  • Basic knowledge of HTML is considered an advantage
