As part of its continuous development programme, the company is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and conscientious individual to join its Accounts Department as a Credit Controller.
 
Responsibilities:
 
The chosen candidate will be responsible for keeping track of outstanding debtors and follow-ups to ensure that payments are effected in a timely manner and keep the outstanding debtor figure to a minimum. It is essential that the selected person keeps in contact and liaises with the Salesforce and Administration at all times in order to ensure that client queries are answered to as efficiently as possible and in a timely manner.
 
Candidates applying for this position must: 

  • be able to work on their own initiative
  • have a polite yet firm approach with persistent defaulters
  • be confident when speaking over the phone
  • have very good communication skills
  • have an A-Level standard of education and background in accounting
  • be comfortable with working with Microsoft Excel and Word 

Additional Experience Required

  • The ideal candidate must have excellent organisation skills, a meticulous work ethic, and the ability to work well in a team and adhere to tight deadlines. Experience within the FMCG sector will be considered an asset.
