Our client provides a comprehensive suite of corporate services to a mainly international clientele including domiciliation, secretarial, book-keeping and preparation of IFRS compliant financial statements. We are also licenced to act as trustee, administrator of private foundations and to provide other fiduciary services. They are seeking to recruit a Corporate Administrator to join their team.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a number of client portfolios and seek to accommodate their respective needs in a timely and in accordance to regulatory procedures
  • Maintain an organised and structured client filing system
  • Deal with incorporation's, amalgamations, re-domiciliation’s, liquidations and dissolution's as well as annual maintenance of the company`s corporate minute files
  • Carrying out screening and compliance AML/KYC checks on existing and new clients
  • Assisting the directors with onboarding formalities
  • Providing secretarial duties to clients
  • Assisting the MLRO with regulatory regulations and returns
  • Dealing with MFSA and Registrar of companies
  • Preparation of board packs, taking of board and shareholder meeting minutes, preparation of board resolutions, handling shareholder meetings

Requirements:

  • Degree in finance or equivalent
  • 2 years’ experience working in corporate services
  • Exceptional written and oral English communication skills
  • Good knowledge of office software applications
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work on your own initiative, pre-empt requirements and deliver tasks with high attention to detail
  • A thorough understanding of the company secretary role including statutory record keeping, and the compliance obligations impacting upon the administration area, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
